Low-Profile, Hugger, and Flush Mount: What's the Difference?

Low-Profile, Hugger, and Flush Mount: What's the Difference?

Safety regulations (UL and ETL guidelines) require ceiling fan blades to be at least 7 feet from the floor and 30 inches from the nearest wall or obstruction.

For rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, you'll need a low-profile or "hugger" fan. Instead of using a downrod, these fans mount directly to a ceiling bracket, keeping the blades at a safe height.

Modern Habitat's flush-mount ceiling fans are perfect for small rooms with low ceilings, providing excellent air circulation while maximizing space.
